(State) A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of southwest Iowa from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.
The National Weather Service says light freezing rain and drizzle is expected to develop across southern Iowa Wednesday morning with expansion northward during the afternoon hours. A light glaze of ice is expected before the precipitation ends Wednesday evening.
Total ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch.
Difficult travel coniditions are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute. Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible power outages.
