(Dallas Co) An Orient man was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Dallas County Wednesday evening.
The Iowa State Patrol says 81-year-old Charles Huddleson was driving a 2011 Ford Escape westbound on Interstate 80 and struck the rear of a tractor trailer. The Escape ran off the road to the right, overturned and came to rest in the construction area.
Huddleson was transported to Methodist Hospital by air ambulance.
The accident is still under investigation.
