(Madison County) A man from Madison County is dead after being severely hurt by a bull on his farm over the weekend. According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, it happened Sunday night in the 2400 block of Millstream Avenue. First responders found 76-year-old Mark Hollingsworth hurt and unresponsive in a cattle feeding area of his property. First responders tried to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said Hollingsworth went into the bullpen to ensure the cattle’s water wasn’t frozen. The State Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating whether a medical issue may have happened before the bull injured him.
