(Mount Ayr, IA) – Harlan finished 3rd at the Ron Scott Duals — after going 3-0 on Friday the Cyclones went 3-2 on Saturday. Harlan tied Shenandoah 42-42 but lost on a tiebreaker and also lost to Cameron (MO) 62-15. They beat Central Decatur 53-30, Mount Ayr 51-26 and Southwest Valley 57-24. On Saturday, Brody McKinley went 5-0 with 4 falls and a 9-5 win. Nathan Sandquist went 4-0 with 4 falls. Jesse Jens was 4-0 with 2 falls, a tech fall and 6-0 win.
After going 0-4 on Friday, Southwest Valley fared better on Saturday going 2-2. Besides losing to Harlan, the Timberwolves beat East Union 51-24 and Durant 42-34 and losing to Chariton 50-26. Ian Forsythe went 2-0 with a fall and tech fall. Sawyer Wilkinson went 2-0 with 2 falls.
Cameron (MO) won the dual tournament with Shenandoah finishing second.
