(Greenfield) The Nodaway Valley and CAM school boards will meet tonight during Nodaway Valley’s regular school board meeting. A portion of the meeting will be dedicated to interviewing various firms to find a new superintendent. CAM School Board President Cara Murphy and fellow board members will join the Nodaway Valley School members to listen to presentations from three superintendent-hiring firms.
Last November, the Nodaway Valley School Board voted 3-2 not to renew Shared Superintendent Paul Croghan’s contract, which is set to expire on June 30, 2025. Since Nodaway Valley holds the contract, CAM has some decisions to make.
Murphy says no decision will be made tonight. The boards will meet again on January 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the Massena Elementary School Media Center.
Murphy also stated that the CAM school board has not formally decided whether to continue sharing a superintendent with Nodaway Valley.
