(Des Moines, IA) — The Des Moines International Airport is celebrating another record-breaking year. The airport authority announced yesterday that nearly three-point-two-million passengers passed through the airport in 2024, a new record for DSM. It’s the second-straight year Des Moines has seen more than three-million passengers travel through the airport following three years of decline. Officials noted the previous record number of passengers before the COVID-19 pandemic was two-point-nine-million in 2019.
