(Des Moines) A Des Moines man is being sentenced to 55 years in prison after pleading guilty to kidnapping his ex-girlfriend. Troy Mure Junior was arrested in September for kidnapping his ex. He has broken into her home while armed and forced her into a car before fleeing. On Friday, the 33-year-old pleaded guilty to kidnapping, burglary, and felon in possession of a weapon. Mure has to serve 22-and-a-half years in prison before he’s eligible for parole. He’s also being ordered to partake in Victim-Offender Dialogue.
