In boys wrestling across West Central Iowa on Thursday night,
AC/GC got two dual wins over East Union and Van Meter. Pins for Ty Ganzer, Morgun Nolte, Gavin Sloss, Lane Stringer, Jack Sheeder, and Jackson Pfrang.
Nodaway Valley competed at a quad hosted by Woodward Granger who knocked off the Wolverines 43-42 in an exciting dual. NV did beat Lenox and Central Decatur. For Nodaway Valley, Ty Strode was 3-0 with 2 falls and a tech fall, Ashton Honnold 2-0 with 2 falls, Trenton Warner 2-0 with 2 falls, Keyin Steeve 2-0 with a fall and tech fall, Josh Nelson 2-0 with 2 falls.
In a triangular, CAM beat Griswold 45-24 and tied West Harrison 30-30 while the Tigers got the win over West Harrison 42-30. For the Cougars, Landon Calhoun was 2-0 with 2 falls, Brentyn Hoover was 2-0 with a fall and tech fall and William Rouse was 2-0 with 2 falls including one in 18 seconds. For the Tigers, RJ Dishong won his only match by fall in 39 seconds.
