(Oakland, IA) — When you talk girls wrestling at Riverside, you’re talking Molly Allen. The three time state champion is rolling through the first part of the season and is 21-0 so far going into this Saturday. Allen has 9 falls and 6 tech falls and has only wrestled into the third period once this season and that was for only 10 seconds in the third period. Head Coach Ben Dorr says that she has been dominant
Senior Veronica Schechinger started the season wrestling at 135 but has moved around a lot and this past Saturday actually wrestled at 120. Whatever weight class she is at, she has won and is 21-8 overall
Also for Riverside, Hailey Harvey is 17-2 at 115 pounds, Jersey Hilgenberg is 18-11 at 100 pounds, Ana Wilson is 17-12 at 140, and Freshman Mckenna Dorr has shown some promise with a 14-11 mark at 145. With state qualifying now about three weeks away, Dorr says the girls need to take it one match at a time to be at their peak on January 31
Riverside will wrestle at the West Central Valley tournament this Saturday
