(Waukon) The trial for a man who is accused of killing his estranged wife is being postponed until spring. Brandon Kasemeier is facing a first-degree murder charge for allegedly killing his wife at a home in Waukon and hen fleeing to Colorado. In December, Kasemeier requested a change of venue because he was concerned about media attention, but the trial will still occur in Allamakee County as initially planned. The trial was supposed to begin on January 28th but will now start on May 20th.
