(Des Moines) Several opioid treatment and recovery centers in Iowa are getting support from the state. Governor Kim Reynolds recently announced that ten million dollars would be going toward Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Des Moines, Dubuque, Mason City, Oskaloosa, and Sioux City centers. Most of the money will help with new construction and expanding current facilities. Centers in Des Moines and Davenport will use a smaller fraction to buy properties for sober-living recovery housing.
