(Des Moines, IA) — Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley says he hopes to protect the victims of crimes and whistleblowers as the chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He met with Kash Patel, President-elect Trump’s nominee for FBI Director, to discuss these goals.
Grassley says the current FBI Director, Christopher Wray is not upholding promises he made when first nominated by Trump seven years ago. He says he thinks Patel will help the FBI with its checks and balances.
