(NAFB) With agricultural import numbers outweighing ag exports over the past couple of years, industry groups are questioning whether or not the new administration will bring relief for ag trade.
Rob Larew, president of the National Farmers Union, says the trade imbalance for agriculture will draw much of the attention as we move into the new year.
So, the approach will need to be producer-focused.
And like other industries, Larew says agriculture is a business.
And for those who wonder if the soon-to-be President Trump will listen, Larew says we’ll see.
But, Larew says it’s unfortunate that there are no guarantees.
