(Adair Co) Adair County Attorney Melissa Larson spoke to the Board of Supervisors this morning about personnel and status of the County Attorney position.
Larson first asked for permission to post for the position of Paralegal Victim Witness Coordinator, which is currently vacant. She said one person in her office with three years of experience does plan to apply, but she would consider any other applicants as well. Larson also wants to post the Legal Assistant position so she only has to do one round of applications and interviews.
The Supervisors gave their approval.
Larson also asked the Supervisors to consider a future resolution to designate her office as full-time.
Following some discussion, the Supervisors asked Larson to get some budget numbers and a resolution put together for the Board to vote on.
