(Creston) A Creston man was charged with OWI following an accident Thursday evening.
The Creston Police Department says at approximately 9:15 p.m., 23-year-old Brodie Starlin was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram northbound on Walnut Street. Near the 500 block of North Walnut Street, Starlin struck a parked vehicle, causing disabling damage to the vehicle. Starlin then proceeded to drive through yards and struck a garage at 505 North Walnut Street, causing approximately $3,000 worth of damage. Starlin then backed out of the garage and traveled to 1206 North Elm Street.
No injuries were reported. Starlin was taken into custody and charged with Operating While Under the Influence 1st Offense.
