(Iowa City, IA) — An arrest has been made in connection to a hazing incident at a fraternity house on the University of Iowa campus.
According to a university statement, authorities responded to a fire alarm at the Alpha Delta Phi house Friday night and found pledge members blindfolded in the basement. Officers say the suspect, 21-year-old Joseph Gaya, blocked the doorway between police and the room full of pledge members.
Gaya was arrested and is charged with interference with official acts.
