(Guthrie Co) A West Des Moines man suffered minor injuries in an accident in Guthrie County Friday afternoon.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old Jamal Jones was driving a fully loaded full size cement truck westbound on 315th Street, west of Talon Avenue. Jones got too close to the north ditch and soft shoulder on the gravel road and was pulled into the north ditch where the truck over turned. According to the report, Jones was distracted because the cement drum was not spinning and he was trying to get it spinning again.
Jones had to break the windshield out to free himself from the truck. He sustained minor injuries and was treated by Stuary EMS
