(Cass Co) Cass County Tourism President Lora Kanning presented information to the Board of Supervisors this morning on a new interactive brochure.
The brochure features a map on one side and on the other side is a list of attractions along with QR codes. Kanning said they haven’t had a new brochure for the Cass County attractions for at least five years, so they took on revamping the brochure.
Kanning said she talked with the County IT Director about adding a link for where the QR codes will go.
You can also scan the QR code from the paper brochure to visit the website.
Kanning said she also would like to upload the brochure on the county website. The one time fee would be $150 to create a side page for the brochure. The Supervisors agreed they could come up with $150 to help pay that cost.
In other news, the Supervisors approved the lease agreement with the Fourth Judicial District, they approved the Fiscal year 2023-2024 Urban Renewal Report, a Federal-Aid Agreement for a bridge replacement project over Jim Branch of 660th Street was approved, and the Supervisors held a first-tier canvass of the 2024 General Election Results.
