(Mills County) Six people suffered injuries in a head-on collision in Mills County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Sunday, at around 12:46 p.m. on Highway 34 eastbound and Interstate 29. The State Police identified the victims as 49-year-old Philip Wilson, of Tea, South Dakota, 40-year-old Eric Meyer, of Glenwood, Iowa, Miranda Sims, of Glenwood, Iowa, and three juveniles.
According to the report, a 2023 Honda Accord driven by Wilson exited off northbound I-29 at Exit 35 onto the Highway 34 eastbound ramp, turned westbound onto the eastbound lanes, and collided head-on with a 2006 GMC Yukon.
The Iowa State Patrol says the injuries were minor to non-life threatening.
