(Anita) The CAM Community School District’s bond issue failed 874 no votes To 697 yes. The measure needed a 60-percent super majority to pass.
The measure would have authorized the district to contract indebtedness and issue General Obligation Bonds not exceeding $22.5 million. Additionally, the proposed measure reduced the current two-campus district to one campus in Anita.
