(Des Moines) Republican Zach Nunn has won a second term representing Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District, defeating Democratic challenger Lanon Baccam.
During a visit to a small business in Atlantic, Iowa, Nunn emphasized his commitment to supporting local enterprises that drive the economy. He expressed pride in two key accomplishments: the expansion of small business grants and efforts to reduce the current administration’s regulatory overreach.
Nunn previously defeated incumbent Democrat Cindy Axne in 2022. Before his congressional tenure, he served as an Iowa State Senator for District 15 since 2019 and is also a U.S. Air Force veteran.
