(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors approved an application for use of the Pottawattamie County Courthouse for the National Adoption Day Celebration on Saturday, November 23rd.
Judge Kathleen Kilnoski told the board that they will start the Celebration with a little speech, they’ll have face painting and crafts for the kids, and refreshments in the main lobby and then the adoption hearings will be held in the courtrooms.
Kilnoski said the ages of kids being adopted this year range from one year to 15 and a half.
