(Des Moines) The Des Moines Police Department has released body camera footage of a deadly police-involved shooting on September 16th. The video shows Joshua Green being pulled over before speeding off. It then shows him crashing the car after a short chase. Green is then seen rocking his car back and forth with the driver’s side door open. Officers reasoned with Green for minutes before launching a taser. This came before a shootout between the suspect and police, wounding two officers and resulting in the death of Green. The Iowa Attorney General cleared the officers involved in the death in a report last week. The videos can be viewed at the Des Moines Police Department YouTube page.
