(Guthrie Center, IA) — Guthrie County is getting a larger than normal turnout for absentee ballots in the election. At today’s (Tuesday’s) Board of Supervisors meeting, County Auditor Dani Fink says they are averaging about 108 people a day coming to the courthouse to vote and there have been just over 14 hundred total absentee ballots that have either been sent out or collected
Fink says that you could expect a wait if you want to vote at the courthouse but not a long one
Fink says the work load in the auditor’s will ease a bit with the deadline for sending out absentee ballots now over.
