Class 3A first round games are on Tuesday, October 22. Regional semifinals Thursday, October 24
In Class 3A, Region 7, Atlantic (5-21) will visit the second seed #14 Clarinda (22-5) in the first round. The winner will play either Red Oak (15-16) or Van Meter (17-6). The top seed in the region is #7 Kuemper Catholic (27-2); the Knights host Harlan (9-24) in the first round. The winner will play either Greene County (10-12) or Des Moines Christian (18-11). Class 2A first round games are on Monday, October 21. Second round Wednesday, October 23
In Class 2A, Region 2 AHSTW (4-25) will visit Underwood (13-15) in a first round game — the winner plays the second seed #15 Shenandoah (21-7). Tri Center (22-9) just beat Treynor (19-8) on Tuesday and the two conference rivals will play in the second round. The winners will play in the semifinals. Complete pairing, click HERE.
In Region 8, AC/GC has a first round bye. The Chargers (12-6) will host Pleasantville (20-10). The winner will go to the Regional Semifinals with a probable match-up against the top seed #8 Pella Christian (20-8). Complete pairing, click HERE.

In Class 1A, #4 Riverside will be the number one seed in Region 4. The Bulldogs will face 0-9 Whiting in the first round. The winner will play either Woodbine (11-15) or West Monona (14-18). 11th ranked Akron Westfield (15-4) is the number two seed in the region. Complete pairing, click HERE
In Region 5, Audubon (7-17) will visit Coon Rapids Bayard (18-5) in the first round — the winner faces either Glidden Ralston (9-12) or St. Edmond (11-6). #5 BCLUW is the top seed in Region 5. Complete pairing, click HERE
In Region 6, #14 Southwest Valley (22-3) is the third seed and the Timberwolves will host Diagonal (3-19) in the first round. The winner will play either Bedford (4-18) or Lamoni (13-9). #6 Janesville is the top seed. Complete pairing, click HERE
In Region 8, Exira EHK (11-4) beat CAM (5-14) this past Tuesday night and they will have a rematch in the first round, this time in Exira. The Spartans are the 4 seed in the region. The third seed is Fremont Mills (17-9) who will host Hamburg (2-14). The winners play in the second round. #9 Sidney (20-6) will play Nodaway Valley (0-28) and the winner will face either Griswold (13-12) or Essex (8-11), that game in Griswold. #8 Don Bosco is the top seed in the region and has a first round bye.
