(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors will assume the responsibilities of the Compensation Board.
Compensation Boards annually recommend wages for elected officials
Board Chair Susan Miller said they held a study session on September 24th with all of the elected officials and they had a good discussion about the state legislature’s bill to dissolve Compensation Boards effective July 1st. This gave the Supervisors the option to reinstate the Compensation Board or have the Supervisors assume those duties.
