Fire Prevention Week Activities in Harlan

(Harlan) October 6^th through the 12^th is Fire Prevention Awareness Week.

Harlan City Administrator Gene Gettys told the City Council that the Harlan Fire Department will kick off the week with a pancake breakfast on Sunday starting at 7:00 a.m.

Gettys also noted that the Harlan Fire Department will be acting on three potential new members at their meeting next month and he said it’s great to see the numbers increasing at the Fire Department.
