(Creston) The Creston Police Department reports three arrests on Wednesday.
Brian Averill Gutmann, 47, 1738 Ryan Dr., was arrested at 302 N. Pine St on an outside agency warrant. Gutmann was charged with six counts of Prohibited Acts Schedule 4 or 5 Controlled Substance, two counts of Insurance Fraud Presenting False Information, and Tampering with Records. Gutmann was taken to Union County Jail. Bail was posted for $ 72,000 cash or surety.
Scott W. Lemon, 42, 601 S. Cherry St., was arrested at his residence. He was charged with Forgery and Theft in the 5th Degree and taken to Union County Jail. Bail was posted for $5300 cash or surety.
Carrie Ann Johns, 49, 508 S. Birch St., was arrested at 806 Laurel St. Johns was charged with Theft in the 5th Degree, Two Union County Warrants for Controlled Substance Violation, Keeping Premises or a Vehicle for Controlled Substance Violation, and Possession of Controlled Substance—2nd Offense. Johns was taken to Adams County Jail. Bail is set at $29300 cash or surety.
