(Avoca, IA) — AHSTW stubbed its toe for the first time this season last week in a 41-33 loss — the Vikings had to play without starting QB Camden Soukop who has broken his collarbone and is out until later in the season. Senior Luke Sternberg and Freshman Dylan Osbahr split time at the position — Sternberg ran for 235 yards and 4 TD while going 4-8 passing for 43 yards and an interception. Osbahr was 5-11 passing for 97 yards and a TD. Overall, Vikings Head Coach GG Harris felt his team didn’t play badly
Sternberg and Osbahr each bring something different to the QB spot with Soukop out. Harris says they will go with it and give defenses different looks
This week AHSTW will head to Underwood and face an Eagles team that also lost to Kuemper and Van Meter too. Its a district game and with Treynor, there are three times that are going to be vying for the district title more than likely. Harris doesn’t want to think about playoffs right now in week four but won’t ignore it
2-1 AHSTW visits 1-2 Underwood
