(Lincoln, NE) — On Tuesday night, #5 ranked Nebraska overcame a surging #9 ranked Creighton team to beat the Bluejays 3-2 (25-19, 25-16, 31-33, 16-25, 15-10) in an interstate volleyball rivalry. The Huskers had a balanced offense attack with Harper Murray (16 kills), Andi Jackson (15 kills), Lindsay Krause (15 kills) and Merritt Beason (14 kills) leading the way. Murray had a double-double adding 14 digs. Huskers Head Coach John Cook says this was the best volleyball he’s seen his team play all season
There was a crowd of 8,924 at the Bob Devaney Center and Cook says they had an impact
Nebraska improved to 6-1; Creighton falls to 5-1. Next up for the Huskers, they’ll host the Nebraska Classic this weekend, playing Arizona St. Friday and Wichita St. on Saturday.
