(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday authorized the Board Chair to sign the School District Camera Sharing Agreements.
David Bayer, Chief Information Officer, and Sam Arkfeld, Captain, told the Board that seven school districts have opted in at this point.
Supervisor Jeff Jorgensen said he is all for security in the schools, but certainly not intrusion.
The school districts that have opted in include Council Bluffs, Lewis Central, Saint Albert, Riverside, Underwood, Treynor and Tri Center. It was noted that if the other schools decide to opt in, the agreement will be brought to the Supervisors for approval.
