(Lincoln, NE) — Last Saturday was huge win for Nebraska, beating former Big 8 rival Colorado 28-10. Dylan Raiola threw for 185 yards and 1 TD; Dante Dowdell ran for 74 yards and 2 scores. It was the defense that dominated, sacking Shedeur Sanders five times and pressured him all game long; the Buffs did not get a first down until their 5th possession of the game.
The Huskers are now 2-0 for the first time since 2016 and this week moved into the AP poll at #23. Head Coach Matt Rhule says its nice to be ranked but its not where they want to be
Rhule says that the special teams played awful against Colorado and there still is a ways to go but the win against the Buffs was a good measuring stick
This week, Northern Iowa heads to Lincoln to face Nebraska, kickoff 6:30, it will be televised by the Big Ten Network.
