(Anita, IA) — Cougars Senior Quarterback Makade Paulsen needed to get his feet wet — after a tough loss in week one to Audubon, Paulsen got himself going against Griswold and led CAM to a 58-14 victory. Paulsen would run it 17 times for 182 yards and five rushing TD’s. He would also go 9-11 passing for 99 yards and 2 more scores. CAM Head Coach Barry Bower says Paulsen just needed some time to settle into the position
Paulsen also had a great game on defense with 5 tackles and 4 TFL, Collin Bower had another fine game with 4.5 tackles and 2 TFL, and Kason Calhoun contributed with 6.5 tackles and 2 TFL. Bower says his boys didn’t think about it, they just went out and played
