(Anita) The CAM School Board approved the SitelogIQ Contract amendment and discussed the facility updates at Monday’s meeting. When the School Board began the conversation of facilities a couple of years ago, it agreed to a $15 million obligation bond. Since then, the bond has risen to $22.5 million, so the contract had to be amended for the bond referendum on the November 5 ballot.
School Superintendent Paul Croghan says the district continues to work with SitelogIQ and is setting up some community meetings to answer questions regarding the school bond referendum on the November ballot.
The bond issue would mean housing all K-12 students in one building in Anita.
The Public measure would provide funds to construct, furnish, and equip a classroom addition to the High School building; remodel, repair, improve, furnish, and equip exterior and interior portions of the existing High School building, including mechanical, electrical, and fire systems improvements; secure entry improvements; technology and security improvements; and improve the site.
