(Adair Co) Two men were arrested on drug charges in Adair County.
The Stuart Police Department arrested 44-year-old Anthony Pointer II, of Omaha, Nebraska, following a traffic stop on August 30th for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 1st Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $1,000 cash or surety.
Stuart Police arrested Brian Keith Alberts, of Lowell, Indiana, on September 7th while investigating an illegally parked vehicle. Alberts was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Person Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons. Bond was set at $2,300 cash or surety.
In other activity, the Greenfield Police Department arrested 23-year-old Kaylee Marie Kingery on August 30th on a warrant for Assault. Bond was set at $300 cash or surety.
The Greenfield Police Department arrested 45-year-old Jose Antonio Garcia Vizcarra, of Omaha, Nebraska, following an incident at the Casey’s on September 2nd. He was charged with two counts of Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury. Garcia-Vizcarra was released on his own recognizance on the Adair County charges and turned over to Homeland Security/Immigration and Customs Enforcement based on a detainer for a previously issued removal order.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Keaton MacDonald Todd, of Peoria, Illinois, on September 2nd after Deputies were called to the Kum and Go for a report of a transient threatening people with a knife. Todd was charged with Harassment 1st Degree. Bond was set at $2,000 cash or surety.
The Iowa State Patrol arrested 39-year-old Jackie Lee Marler, of Thayer, on August 30th for Driving While Barred. Bond was set at $2,000 cash or surety.
