(Anderson, Indiana) The Fort Dodge Regional Airport in Iowa says they are aware of a tragic plan crash that occurred this morning in Anderson, Indiana. They said, “We can confirm that the aircraft involved in this incident was not based at our airport. However, the flight plan indicates that the aircraft took off from Fort Dodge Regional Airport at 6:48 AM this morning, en route to Anderson, Indiana.”
The FAA says a single-engine Piper PA-46 crashed near Anderson Municipal Airport-Darlington Field in Indiana around 10 a.m. local time on Friday. Four people were on board. The FAA and NTSB will investigate.
According to reports, there were no survivors.
