(Iowa City) The Iowa State Patrol is warning of heavy traffic in and out of this week’s Iowa vs. Iowa State game. To their aid, a plane.
“Those planes play a vital role in traffic safety and traffic pattern we have with these games,” said Iowa State Patrol Sergeant Alex Dinkla. “They can tell us stuff miles, and they can also see whether we have a stalled vehicle on the side of the road, that allows for a quick removal of the vehicle versus a law enforcement officer driving for miles back and forth.”
