(Iowa City, IA) — Kirk Ferentz spent last week on his couch serving a one game suspension as Iowa finally got their offense going in the 2nd half in a 40-0 win over Illinois St.
Ferentz says it was an experience he does not want to have again — he belongs on the field, chewing his gum and trying to figure out how to make the offense more consistent. After a first half where the Hawkeyes could not find the end zone, Iowa would score on 5 of their 6 drives in the second half.
