(Anita) CAM Head Coach Barry Bower says his football team’s loss last week was a learning experience. Coach Bower says the lack of depth was one key factor in the loss to a good Audubon squad one week ago.
Coach Bower says his young team gained some valuable experience; they just wore down, which showed up in the second half.
CAM rushed for 206 yards on 37 carries, led by Kaden Winther’s six totes for 87 yards, Brayden Chester carried the ball 15 times for 67 yards, and Mikade Paulsen recorded 16 carries for 52. Paulsen was 4-15 passing for 16 yards.
Next up for CAM is Griswold. The Tigers are coming off a 49-0 loss to Boyer Valley. Coach Bower says Griswold is an improved football team led by a large front line.
The Tigers rushed for 155 yards last Friday night and passed for another 51 yards. The kick-off is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Griswold.
