(Griswold) Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash north of Griswold Saturday evening.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at Highway 48 and 550th Street at 6:57 p.m.
A 1997 Ford pickup, driven by Mark Allyn Liddell of Griswold, was driving northbound on Highway 48. A southbound 2008 Buick, driven by 26-year-old Dustin Lee Jones of Griswold, crossed the center line and struck the pickup head on.
Dustin Jones was transported to UNMC by Lifenet.
Mark Liddell was transported to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital by Griswold Rescue and then transported to UNMC.
A 4-year-old male was transported to Montgomery County Memorial Hospital by Red Oak Rescue and then transported to Children’s Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
