(Atlantic) The Atlantic Area Chamber Ambassadors were hosted by Meredith Communications on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, to help welcome new staff.
Bill Saluk, General Manager, introduced the Ambassadors to the new Sports Director, Chris Varney, who recently moved to the area from Grinnell. Chris comes to Meredith Communications with 30 years of experience and the title of 2023 Iowa High School Coaches Association Broadcaster of the Year. Chris is originally from Columbia, Maryland, but has been fortunate enough to move to the Midwest to be closer to family. Chris is looking forward to being a part of the tight-knit community and continuing to do what he loves: sports broadcasting.
