(Creston) Creston Police arrested two people on sex abuse charges. On Wednesday, Police arrested 38-year-old Timothy Wayne Trusty and 21-year-old Cheyenne Beth Murry for 2nd–degree Sex Abuse, the first offense. Police transported Trusty to the Clarke County Jail and held him on no bond until a judge could see him. Officers transported Murry to the Adams County Jail and held her on no bond until seen by a Judge.

*Creston Police arrested 26-year-old Isaac Hayes of Creston at his residence on Wednesday for Assault – Fear of Immediate Contact. Hayes was taken to Union County Jail. Bail is set for $300 cash or approved surety.
*Creston Police arrested 50-year-old Regina Deanne Sanchez of Creston on Wednesday on a 5th-degree theft charge. Police cited Sanchez and released her on a promise to appear.
Agriland Fast Stop reported several missing items from its lot. The equipment missing includes a black single-axel 2014 Finish Utility trailer with a full fuel tank and an orange Ditch Witch RT24. The loss is estimated at $11,150.00.
