(Ames, IA) — Iowa St. Football returns many starters from last year but the Cyclones will have a new placekicker in 2024.
Gone is Chase Conteraz from Missouri Valley who graduated and ISU will turn to a Redshirt Freshman Kyle Konrardy to handle the kicking duties. Konrardy is from Dubuque Senior where he was an Iowa First All State selection, making 8 of 10 field goals his senior season including one from 52 yards. Iowa St. Head Coach Matt Campbell has been impressed early on
At Punter, the Cyclones return Junior Tyler Perkins from Norwalk, OH who ranked 6th in the Big 12 last year in punting, averaging 44.3 yards a kick. Campbell would just like to see more consistency from Perkins
