(Atlantic) The Atlantic football team wrapped up their fourth day of practice on Thursday. The Trojans return some depth in the defensive backfield, including first-team all-district player senior Kinnick Juhl. Last season, Juhl recorded 32 tackles, 23 solo stops, and four interceptions.
Juhl says he gained some valuable experience playing with the senior group one year ago.
Juhl says the first four days of practice have gone well, with each individual learning their roles on the squad.
Juhl mentioned leading the younger players and getting back into the groove of covering passing routes as some of his goals this past week.
The Trojans open the season at home in a week-zero game on August 23 with Council Bluffs, Thomas Jefferson.
