(Corning) Two people face drug possession charges in Adams County stemming from a traffic stop in Adams County.
Deputies conducted the traffic stop on Highway 34 and Highway 48 on July 31, which led to the arrests of 59-year-old Janie Ray of Mexico, Missouri, and 58-year-old Phillip Hutchinson of New Florence, Missouri.
Hutchinson is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, 3rd offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ray faces charges of Methamphetamine 1st offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hutchinson is held on a $5,300.00 cash bond. Ray is held on a $1,300.00 cash bond.

The Sheriff’s Office also reports the arrest of 49-year-old John Anothny Neely on an active warrant for Violation of Probation. He was held in the Adams County Jail.
The Sheriffs also arrested 31-year-old Devin Heimke of Corning at Casey’s General Store for Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, and Interference with Official Acts. Deputies transported Heimke to the Adams County Jail, where they held him on a $900.00 bond.
