(Guthrie Co) The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors received information this morning on a proposed campground and ATV Park in Bear Grove Township.
Jason Fett said the plans aren’t 100-percent complete yet, but he wanted to speak with the board about what would need to happen as far as how the property would to taxed and what needs to happen with zoning.
Jason said they even talked about having events on the property, whether that be a band or a wedding.
The Supervisors held a lengthy discussion regarding zoning and it was decided that the best practice would be a conditional use permit which would require notification of the landowners surrounding the affected property and a public hearing.

In other news, the Supervisors voted 4 to 1 to approve the public notice to voters on the EMS Levy Ballot Measure. Supervisor Mike Dickson voted nay.
