An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect for Harrison and Shelby Counties from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening. Dangerously hot conditions are forecast, with heat index values climbing to 112 degrees.
The forecast high temperature for today is 91 degrees, 96 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday, 88 degrees on Thursday, and back up to 90 degrees on Friday.
