(Red Oak) Three people face assault charges following an incident in Red Oak.
According to the press release, the charges stem from an incident in the 1800 block of N. 4th Street on Saturday night. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested 35-year-old Micaela Morales and 35-year-old Douglas Walter Penry, both from Stanton, and 40-year-old Arthur Finton McCarthy of Ankeny.
Gonzales and Penry face charges of assault causing bodily injury. McCarthy is charged with simple assault. Gonzales and Penry were each held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $1,000.00 bond, while McCarthy’s bond was set at $300.00.
