(Lincoln, NE) – Nebraska baseball’s Ty Horn has been chosen to participate in the West Coast League All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 17th, at Joe Martin Stadium in Bellingham, Washington.
Horn has been a key player for the Corvallis Knights, who lead the WCL South Division with a 23-5 record this summer. He is one of seven Knights to receive all-star honors. The Halstead, Kansas native boasts a 1-0 record with one save and a 1.20 ERA over five appearances on the mound, including three starts. In 15 innings pitched, Horn has allowed just two earned runs and struck out 17 batters this summer.
During his freshman season with the Huskers in the spring, Horn posted a 1-1 record with a 5.91 ERA in 13 appearances, including four starts. He tallied 19 strikeouts in 21.1 innings in his first season with the Huskers.
