(Council Bluffs, IA) – Google is looking to invest a total of one billion additional dollars in its data center in southwest Iowa.
This investment by the tech firm comes in addition to the 1.3 million dollars for water quality in those areas. The company sees its infrastructure as a crucial element for deploying AI solutions globally. The tech company is also considering building a new data center just north of The Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids.
Google still has yet to announce its decision on the development center deal that closed on May 22nd to secure 414 acres for their new facility project.
